What are we going to get if we help these kids?

I am going to answer to this question as Iraqi man with all respects for all opinions . I belive help anyone in this world means help everyone and everybody has its own situation . as we know poor environment and ignorance lead to violence , wars, crimes , sabotage, terrorism and all bad thing you think. It will be dangerous to live in that environment almost there is no life so the people who lives there has no value for there life , If somebody don't have value for his life ..... imagine it will be terrible ... he will see killing is easy and one solution for every thing . That environment it will be almost one of planets NO LIFE . So look at this side . It won't stop in this environment but is going to hurt other environmets or spread out to others as CANCER . so to protect our selves and that environment we have to initiate to help them with right education and upbringing . I belive we will get too much things . because today our planet is getting big day by day and our problems are enlarging . every problem needs be solved in the beginning with being small as CANCER . Now come everybody to give them life back to make our planet secure and stable by helping these young kids . I am going to pass on all kids' voice as my mission to help kids with their true stories . I put this to make you understand their living state . you can learn more by www.iraqkids.org .
Now imagine what we are going to get if we help these kids .

Ala'a, I agree totally with what you have written here. Education and Hope are the necessary ingrediants for Peace. The terrorists take advantage of Ignorance and feed on Despair. Their hate transcends their humanity making them like sewage which infects the ignorant who come in contact with them. Those who kill innocent Iraqi children, mothers, daughters, grandomthers and grandfathers be damned by Allah

I wish you the best of luck on your mission. It is a worthy cause and your approach of presenting personal stories is compelling.

Doesn't the Koran say something like:

"If you cause harm to even the smallest among us, it is as if you kill us all."

Ala'a
I have a poem
it was writen by an unknown poet for the Iraqi children:

"In the remembrance of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi Children who perished in this stupid war (Since 1990) to bombs, missiles, hunger, terrorists, and diseases, I post this poem:

To the people of the World:

This is the story that must be told
Of an Iraqi baby, not very old
Lying in her crib on a star-lit night
How could she know of those planes in flight?

She lies there quietly touching her nose
Watching her mobile, wiggling her toes
Oohing and Cooing, so sweetly is she
Talking someone, Who could it be?

An angel is standing with her in the room.
The baby is smiling, unaware of her doom.
The crib starts to shake and the mobile goes round
Then suddenly comes the most deafening sound
The ceiling drops in, in a second or two...
On her crib so she ceases to coo...

No one knows how long she lies there
Who thought about it? Doesn't anyone care?
Is she alive? Is she dead? Is she in pain?
Now that you mention it, who knows her name?
Her name is Amal, in English we say Hope
Crushed between the rubble, her tiny fingers start to grope!

Where is my Mommy? I love her so dear.
Come get me Mommy. It's dark in here
I'm scared and hungry and I can't see my feet
There's blood in my mouth, give me something to eat!
Where is my daddy? Where's my big brother?
It hurts when I breathe, Where is my mother?
How long have I been here? Is this just a dream?

I open my mouth, but I can't even scream!
They appear again by my side
This time with a tear I plead... Why have I died?
Am I alone in my suffering? No, there are many others

In our grief and misery, we are all sisters and brothers
Who are we, I ask you... For what crime did we die?
They're throwing a party! Doesn't anyone cry?
Is it true? Am I nothing? How could it be?
It is war they say, of which death is a part.

How blind they've become, how hardened of heart.
Did someone say hero? To whom they speak?
A victory claimed for killing the weak?
Why are they happy? Why are they proud?

Dont they know I'm cold in my burial shroud?
No war has been won; no ifs, buts, or maybes:
they've only killed babies........

Signed Me, An Iraqi Baby"

hope you like it

nice blog keep posting and let the world hear your voice
I will like you to my blog

what is your home town if may I ask?

Dave "Those who kill innocent Iraqi children, mothers, daughters, grandomthers and grandfathers be damned by Allah"
I think we should leave God out of the mess we humans do on this earth. The first step would be to make the occupation troops acceptable under Iraqi law as all the other terrorists and criminals are in Iraq that is were we need to start.

So anyone whether Iraqi or US soldier who commits a crime, kill and Iraqi in Iraq should be prosecuted in Iraq.

I read each of these posts. Let me try to tell everybody something. War is terrible, we all know that. Innocent people and children die horrible deaths. It may be from bombs, UXO (un-exploded ordinance), death comes in many ways... When we invaded Iraq we took every possible action to avoid killing non-combatants. The terrorists intentionally kill children, clerics, women and old men that is the difference. The United Nations Sanctions led to the death of over a million Iraqi children over the 13 years. All the while the big guys were stealing from the oil for food program. Stealing food and medicine intended to stop the dying of the Iraqi children. Saddam was one of the biggest thiefs stealing from the children to build his palaces. Think about the murders of children in Kuwait. Think about the gassing of the Kurdish children. Think about Al Qaeda setting off a bomb where children have gathered to get candy from soldiers. Do you get this? The children suffer and die because of men's greed, hate and lust for violence. Lets stop killing the children.
